Originally based in Moss Side. A move to Chorlton-cum-Hardy in the late 1960s and four generations later, the business is now run by 4 Brothers. With Another Move In February 2024, To Their Purpose Built Building In Marton Cheshire, The Company Are Concentrating On Their Existing Customers And Moving With The Times Of On-Line Shopping.

WH Frost is an ever expanding empire with twenty-two full time staff serving not only our high street customers but also delivering produce to pubs, supper clubs and restaurants – with some Michelin starred customers having long running accounts. Unlike other catering butchers, we do not find the cheapest meat from the easiest source; instead we ensure everything is British unless it is a specific product such as poulet de bresse.

All our meat is sourced locally from local livestock markets supplied by independent farms around Cheshire, as we like to support the local economy. Nothing is delivered to us unseen; it is all carefully handpicked by Jack who chooses the best on offer.

WH Frost is open Monday to Saturday from 0700 hours to 1600 hours Or Shop Online 24 Hours A Day. We have even been known to drop orders for repeat customers at a location to suit. We have pride in the way we work and what we sell.
